Invidia, the Venom-Tongued, is a naga of rare and terrible poise — a creature who has elevated cruelty to an art form. Her coiled serpentine lower body rises with coiled menace, each scale precisely rendered and flowing into the tattered elegance of her robes. Her elaborate feathered crest crowns a face of cold composure, and both hands are occupied: a hatchet in one, a curved blade in the other. She fights as she negotiates — with both hands, without hesitation, and always with something held back. This sculpt captures that coiled readiness, the billowing sash trailing behind her as though mid-strike.
For Dungeon Masters, Invidia works as a cult leader, a serpentfolk noble, a guardian of forbidden knowledge, or the patron of a yuan-ti enclave who has grown tired of diplomacy. For collectors and painters, the contrast between the organic serpent tail and the ornate draped robes offers a genuinely engaging paint project — the scale texture alone invites layered washes and careful highlighting.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Need a distinctive naga or yuan-ti boss for a D&D or TTRPG encounter
- Are running campaigns involving serpentfolk, cults, or ancient ruins
- Want a dual-wielding monster with genuine visual menace on the table
- Are building a display collection of characterful fantasy villains
Encounter Hook:
The party is summoned to broker a peace between two warring guilds — only to discover that Invidia has already met with the other faction, and whatever she told them has left their representative pale-faced and silent. The negotiation begins, but her hatchet rests on the table rather than at her hip, and she has not stopped watching the party's spellcaster since they walked in.
This miniature is printed at 35mm scale. If you would prefer 32mm scaling, send us a message and we will do our best to accommodate. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please include a note stating which of the three base styles you would like. The base arrives separate and can be attached with a small amount of glue. All miniatures are printed to a high standard, supports removed, and fully cured. Minor support marks can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up before priming.
