This is the second sculpt variation of the Intellect Devourer from Novaminis — and where the first pose may differ in stance or attitude, this one captures the creature mid-stalk: low to the ground, all four clawed limbs splayed outward in a wide, predatory crouch. The oversized brain-mass sits heavy above the body, its convoluted folds and deep grooves rendered in sharp, organic detail. There are no eyes, no face — just the terrible, pulsing suggestion of a mind that wants yours.

The sculpt leans into the unsettling anatomy of the creature beautifully. Each of the four limbs ends in a cluster of long, curved claws that splay against the ground, giving the mini a tense, coiled energy — as though it is about to launch itself forward. The skin texture across the brain-body transitions from the smoother lower limbs to the deeply ridged upper mass, and subtle shadow-catching grooves will reward painters who use washes and glazes to bring out the depth. A dark purple tint in the renders hints at how well this sculpt takes colour.
