Sir Enidus of Old Town is the Crown's blade in the dark: an Inquisitor who operates where the law frays at its edges and gentler methods have long since failed. Clad in ornately engraved plate and a sweeping longcoat that billows behind him mid-stride, he cuts a silhouette that speaks of authority, menace, and absolute conviction. His right arm extends a double-barrelled flintlock pistol with the calm precision of a man who has done this many, many times. His left hand grips a rune-etched implement — a focus, a ward, or something far less categorisable — suggesting there is magic woven through his methods as readily as gunpowder.
This sculpt, from DM Stash's Law & Disorder collection, captures Enidus at the exact moment before the shot: coat mid-sweep, weight forward, one foot raised from the rubble-strewn ground beneath him. Every surface rewards the painter — scrollwork on the pauldrons, layered armour across the torso, tooled leather straps, and a cape with deep, flowing folds that take a wash beautifully. Equally at home on an active gaming table or a display shelf, this is a character piece that demands a story.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Need a formidable NPC inquisitor, crown agent, or morally complex authority figure
- Are running a city intrigue, witch-hunting, or political corruption campaign arc
- Want a Fighter, Arcane Trickster, or Artificer player character with a gunslinger aesthetic
- Collect display-quality character miniatures with rich paintable detail
Encounter Hook:
The party is three days into sheltering a fugitive scholar when the inn door opens and Sir Enidus steps inside, pistol already drawn, eyes scanning the room with the patience of someone who has already read every exit. He doesn't accuse anyone. He simply asks, very quietly, who has seen the scholar — and everyone at the table understands that the wrong answer ends badly.
