Inquisitor / Investigator (Alexander of Riverbrook) by DM Stash

In the fog-choked streets of Westlook, where secrets fester behind every locked door, Alexander of Riverbrook walks with the cold authority of a man who has already decided you are guilty — and is simply gathering evidence to prove it.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Alexander of Riverbrook is sculpted with the weathered authority of a man who answers to no guild and fears no cult. His long investigator's coat billows dramatically behind him, its woven texture rendered in exceptional detail across the sweeping cape — the kind of surface that rewards careful drybrushing and a wash to bring out every thread. Skull medallions mark his pauldrons, belt, and chest, signalling an affiliation with darker ecclesiastical powers. His armoured legs and belted torso speak to someone who expects interrogations to turn violent, while his raised flintlock pistol — held high with a grimly practised ease — makes clear he came prepared. His expression is a masterclass in barely-restrained contempt: brow furrowed, jaw set, eyes fixed on something that has just made a serious mistake.

The scenic base adds narrative weight to the piece — rubble, broken stonework, and scattered bones underfoot, as though Alexander has already concluded his last investigation and moved on before anyone noticed. This is a miniature built for both the gaming table and the display shelf, with the sculpt depth to reward painters at any skill level.

As a player character, Alexander lends himself to Inquisitor clerics, Arcane Trickster rogues with a lawful bent, Way of Shadow monks, or a Gunslinger fighter operating on behalf of some shadowed institution. As an NPC, he is precisely the kind of authority figure who makes the party nervous even when they've done nothing wrong — and genuinely dangerous when they have.

• Dungeon Masters running gothic horror, urban intrigue, or investigative campaigns
• Players looking for a grim, authoritative character with firearm flair
• Painters drawn to dramatic capes, layered armour, and expressive faces
• Collectors building out a Shadow over Westlook display or encounter roster

Encounter Hook: The party has just arrived in the city of Westlook when a knock at their inn door reveals Alexander of Riverbrook — badge in one hand, pistol in the other. Someone matching the description of one of the adventurers was spotted near the scene of a brutal murder, and Alexander does not believe in coincidences. He gives them three days to prove their innocence before he files his report. He fully intends to follow them the entire time.
