This is Imps 02 from Yasashii Kyojin Studios — and where the first imp in the range crouches and schemes, this one soars. The sculpt captures the creature mid-flight: wings spread wide, bat-like membranes taut between long finger-bones, taloned feet drawn up beneath a wiry, muscular body. A crown of bony spines juts from the brow, and the segmented tail curls behind it with predatory intent. It's a fiend that reads as genuinely dangerous from across a table — not merely a pest but a predator.
In D&D 5e, imps serve as Warlock familiars and devilish spies, but they're just as useful as encounter filler in Avernus, summoned nuisances in a cursed tower, or the very thing a failed ritual drags through the veil. The hovering pose makes it particularly effective on a flying base or as a swooping ambusher dropping into an unsuspecting party. At 21mm tall, it sits neatly within the small-creature footprint whilst the wingspan commands real presence on the table. Equally at home on a display shelf as it is in the thick of a session.

Encounter Hook:
The Warlock's pact expired three sessions ago — but the imp assigned to watch them never got the memo. It's been trailing the party for two days, cataloguing their weaknesses for a devil who may no longer be paying attention. Tonight, perched on a rooftop above the inn, it decides to stop watching and start acting.
Scaled to 32mm (body height approximately 21mm as shown). Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is printed at high resolution and support marks are removed; as with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface variation is possible and easily addressed before painting. Supplied unpainted and ready to prime.
