Description

This imp sculpt captures the creature mid-crouch — a pose radiating coiled, opportunistic menace. Both leathery wings are spread wide behind a lean, muscular frame, while the clawed hands and feet press into the ground as though braced to lunge. The snarling face, complete with curved horns and pointed ears, carries that distinctive blend of cunning and cruelty that makes imps such memorable presences at the table.
The detail in this sculpt rewards a careful paint job. The wing membranes offer broad flat surfaces that take washes and glazes beautifully, while the face — with its bared teeth and narrowed eyes — gives painters a chance to bring out real character with layering and spot highlights. Whether you go for classic blood-red or something more unexpected, this imp has the bones to support it.
