Illusionist Wizard (Jonas the Trick) by DM Stash
Description
He doesn't need to threaten you — he just needs you to believe the threat is real, and Jonas the Trick has never once failed to convince an audience.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Part of DM Stash's Betting in Blood D&D 5th Edition casino heist campaign, Jonas the Trick is an illusionist wizard whose reputation precedes him through every gambling hall, back-room deal, and gilded parlour in the city. The sculpt captures him mid-command: staff gripped in one hand, the other arm extended in a sharp, authoritative point — the gesture of a man who has already won the argument before it began. His long coat is layered with beautifully detailed arabesques across the collar and shoulders, while the sweeping cape fans out dramatically behind him, its lining richly textured with a repeating scale-and-floral pattern that rewards painting in contrasting colours. Hair pulled back, short beard, and an expression that says he knows exactly what card you're holding.
This is a deeply characterful sculpt — equally at home as a Dungeon Master's named NPC at the centre of a heist narrative or as a player character miniature for an arcane trickster, illusion wizard, or well-dressed archmage. The decorative base features cobblestone-style detailing and is supplied as a separate piece.
A good fit for adventurers who:
- Are running a heist, intrigue, or urban crime campaign
- Need a charismatic wizard NPC — quest-giver, rival, or casino crime lord
- Play an Illusionist, Arcane Trickster, or high-society spellcaster
- Want a display-quality collector's piece with exceptional cloak detailing
Encounter Hook:
The party has just cheated their way to the final table of the Dragon's Eye Casino — only to find Jonas the Trick already seated, fingers interlaced, watching them with the mild interest of a man who orchestrated their arrival from the very beginning. He slides an envelope across the felt. "I have a job. You have skills. Let's not waste each other's time."
Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and decorative cobblestone base are separate pieces — attach with superglue. The cape's intricate pattern and the coat's embossed detailing are sculpted cleanly for ease of painting. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
