Description

Five heads, five sets of jaws, and not a single one of them is willing to negotiate.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Hydra is one of the most feared creatures in the Monster Manual — a relentless, regenerating nightmare that turns every attempt to slay it into a desperate escalation. This sculpt by Mia Kay M3DM captures that terrifying energy with real conviction: five serpentine necks arching outward from a heavily scaled, quadrupedal body, each head bearing its own crown of horns and a mouth full of jagged teeth. The sculpt is shown unpainted in a warm cream resin, and the level of surface detail — overlapping scales along the tail, ridged spines down the back, and individually distinct head shapes — gives painters a genuinely rewarding canvas to work with.

At 32mm scale, this is a large and commanding piece. Whether you're statting it up as a full Hydra encounter or repurposing it as a unique dragon-kin boss, it brings immediate weight and menace to the table. Just as effective mounted on a shelf as it is surrounded by panicking adventurers.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run D&D 5e or TTRPG campaigns featuring coastal, swamp, or lair-dwelling monsters
  • Need a multi-headed boss that demands tactical thinking from their players
  • Want a large, detail-rich miniature for a painting project or display collection
  • Are building out a bestiary of legendary monsters

Encounter Hook:
The fishing village of Amberfen has gone quiet — no boats, no smoke, no gulls. When the party arrives, they find the harbour dragged apart from below, and five sets of claw marks carved into the stone pier, each as wide as a man's chest. Something with many heads has made its lair in the sea caves beneath the cliffs, and it has not yet finished feeding.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model comes with the base detached and can be affixed easily with a small amount of glue. Minis arrive ready to prime and paint, or use straight from the box — no painting required for the table. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all hand-finished prints, minor marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
