The Hunting Game Hanger is a characterful scatter terrain piece that does exactly what the best environmental details should — it tells a story before a single die is rolled. Two upright poles, each topped with a forked iron tip and bound with rope, support a horizontal bar from which the day's catch hangs: a large furred carcass with scaled legs, several birds lashed together at the wings, and what appears to be a horned ram's skull resting on the base amid dust and debris. The sculpt has extraordinary surface detail throughout — the texture of the pelt, the individual feathers of the bound birds, the braided cordage wrapped around each joint — all rendered with a crafter's eye for the grotesque.
