Hunter Dunstan by Great Grimoire
Description
He emerged from the fog at the edge of the village, long coat slicked with rain, musket resting easy in the crook of his arm — the kind of man who hunts things that don't want to be found.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Hunter Dunstan cuts a distinctive silhouette: a seasoned, world-weary figure dressed in a sweeping long coat, tall boots, and a feathered tricorne hat that speaks of hard miles and harder choices. He carries a long-barrelled musket with the casual confidence of someone who has used it more than once, and his expression — jaw set, eyes level — suggests he is already three steps ahead of whatever trouble is brewing. This is a man with a contract, a code, and very little patience for either monsters or the people who invite them in.
Whether you place him as a grizzled Ravenloft monster hunter, a morally complicated bounty tracker, or a veteran NPC who knows where the bodies are buried (sometimes literally), Dunstan brings enormous storytelling weight to a campaign. He's equally at home on the tabletop mid-session or painted and displayed as a collector's piece — the sculpt rewards both uses generously.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a weathered hunter NPC for dark fantasy or gothic horror campaigns
- Are playing or DMing a Ravenloft, Curse of Strahd, or Van Richten-adjacent adventure
- Want a firearms-equipped human character at 32mm scale
- Are looking for a named NPC with an immediately readable personality
- Collect detailed character sculpts for display as well as play
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in a fog-choked village to find that someone got there first — a single set of boot prints leading to the inn, a spent musket ball embedded in the door frame, and a one-line note pinned beneath it: "Don't go in the mill. — D." Hunter Dunstan is at the bar, back to the wall, and he's not in a talking mood. Yet.
