This hummingbird bard is one of the most characterful birdfolk sculpts you'll come across — a small, feathered figure mid-performance, broad wings fanned wide behind them, head tilted into the music as their clawed feet grip the earth below. The lute is exquisitely detailed, with carved grain on the body and pegs carved along the headstock. Rope-wrapped straps cross the figure's chest, and the textured feathers running from crown to collar give it a genuinely avian quality that sets it apart from more generic winged humanoids. Crystal shards scatter the base, adding a touch of the otherworldly to an already arresting pose.
Whether you're building a Kenku-adjacent bard PC, populating a vibrant city ward with street performers, or crafting an NPC whose songs carry coded messages for the party, this miniature brings a distinctive personality to the table. It paints up brilliantly for collectors too — the feather texture and lute detailing reward careful brushwork.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want a birdfolk bard as a player character with genuine visual presence
- Need a charismatic NPC performer, travelling minstrel, or fey court entertainer
- Are running a campaign with avian races, sky-cities, or feathered folk cultures
- Collect characterful humanoid minis with strong fantasy identity
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in a coastal market town to find a crowd gathered around a small winged figure playing a hauntingly familiar melody — one that matches the tune described in the encrypted letter they've been carrying for three sessions. The hummingbird bard doesn't look up, but their eyes track every face in the crowd.
