- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
This large-scale display bust captures Linus, an aged human wizard of considerable wisdom and quiet power. A broad-brimmed hat shadows a long, curling beard and a face caught mid-thought — one hand raised to his chin, the other gripping a gnarled, rope-like staff that spirals upward and out of frame. What sets this sculpt apart is its remarkable detail in the company Linus keeps: four birds attend him at once, perched on his staff, settled on his shoulder, and mid-wing beside him. The effect is less battlefield sorcerer and more wandering sage — the sort of NPC who knows far more than he lets on.
The back of the bust is equally considered, with layered travelling robes, stitched seams, studded leather details, and cascading grey hair that reward close inspection from every angle. Whether Linus is a travelling druid elder, an eccentric archmage, or a mysterious patron who delivers cryptic quests over a cup of cold tea, he carries the weight of decades in every sculpted fold.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Paint display busts and want a subject with genuine depth across every surface
- Are building a collection of characterful fantasy sages, mentors, or elders
- Need a visually distinctive NPC or patron to anchor a campaign arc
- Appreciate sculpts where even the reverse rewards a second look
Encounter Hook:
The party is summoned to a collapsed stone tower at the edge of a dying forest. Inside, surrounded by roosting birds that watch without blinking, sits Linus — very much alive, very much expecting them, and holding a sealed letter addressed to the character who least wants to open it.

What's included:
This is a large-scale display bust, not a standard 32mm tabletop miniature. It comes unpainted in grey resin on an integrated display plinth. Detail across robes, birds, and staff is sharp throughout, with fine feather texture visible even on the smallest perched figures. Support marks, where present, are minor and easily cleaned up before painting.

Mitz & Simz — purred over, judged, and occasionally sat upon. Every miniature earns its place.
