Cloak swept back and crossbow levelled, this Human Male Rogue cuts a confident figure mid-shot. The sculpt captures a decisive moment — feet planted wide, the stock of the hand crossbow braced and aimed, and a messenger bag at his hip suggesting a life spent moving quickly between rooftops and back alleys. The hood frames his focused expression without obscuring it, giving painters a clear face to work with, while the layered travelling clothes offer plenty of surface variety across cloth, leather, and cord detail.

The dynamic aiming stance gives this miniature real energy on the tabletop — far from a static figure, he reads as someone mid-engagement, tracking a target across a crowded market square or drawing a bead on a fleeing noble from a shadow-filled doorway. He works equally well as a player character Rogue or Ranger, a guild operative, a bounty hunter, or an NPC informant who's just realised the meeting went sideways.

This is variation 01 of the Taw Launcher Rogue sculpt from MZ4250 — if you're browsing multiple versions of this character, each variant offers a distinct take on the same archetype.

A good fit for adventurers who:

  • Play Rogues, Rangers, or Fighters with a ranged combat focus
  • Run city intrigue, thieves' guild, or assassins' contract campaigns
  • Want a ranged-specialist mini with strong visual presence on the board
  • Are building out a guild of hired blades or urban operatives
  • Love a sculpt that rewards careful painting across layered cloth and leather

Encounter Hook: The party has tracked their mark to a crowded festival square — but before they can close in, a crossbow bolt punches through the noise and the target drops. From the rooftop across the street, a hooded figure is already moving, bag bouncing at his hip, gone before anyone can draw. Someone hired a professional, and now the party has a new problem.
