Human Male Necromancer (Aurelion) by DM Stash
Description
He does not conquer death — he has simply made it an inconvenience, a resource, a kingdom waiting to be claimed one skull at a time.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Aurelion is no cackling undead cultist hunched over a grimoire. He is something far more unsettling: a figure of terrible composure, striding forward with one hand outstretched to channel necrotic energy and the other gripping a barbed, crescent-headed staff wreathed in jagged bone. His armour is a patchwork of runic plate and tattered hide, etched with arcane sigils, and his pointed ears and wild beard mark him as someone who has lived long enough — or bargained cleverly enough — to carry genuine authority. The sculpt places him atop a richly detailed base of cracked earth, animal skulls, and grasping dead wood, the kind of blasted ground that forms wherever Aurelion lingers too long.
From the front, the outreached hand and raised staff give him the energy of a spellcaster mid-ritual. From behind, the fur-lined cloak and bound wrappings on his legs tell a story of long travel through cold, unforgiving places. Every angle rewards a second look — which makes him as rewarding to paint and display as he is to drop onto the battlemat as a BBEG, a morally ambiguous patron, or the last obstacle between your party and the dungeon's heart.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a commanding necromancer NPC or recurring villain with genuine presence
- Are building a warlock, druid, or wizard player character with a dark or feral aesthetic
- Want a display piece that rewards fine detail work on armour, staff, and base elements
- Are running campaigns in blighted wastelands, cursed kingdoms, or planes touched by undeath
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the village of Ashenveil to find every grave opened from within and the fields silent. At the centre of the harvested cemetery stands Aurelion, staff planted in the earth, regarding them with the patience of a man who has already won — or thinks he has. He doesn't attack. He offers them a job instead, and names a price that suggests he knows exactly what each of them is worth.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of super glue — Aurelion interacts with his base in a way that rewards keeping them together. As with all resin miniatures, minor surface imperfections can occasionally occur; any trace marks are easy to clean up before priming. The model arrives fully cured and ready for painting or immediate use unpainted on the table.
