Description
He's scratching the back of his neck and looking at you like he's already deciding whether to trust you — and he hasn't made up his mind yet.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Not every character in a campaign swings a sword or casts a spell. Some of the most memorable figures at the table are the ones who don't — the grizzled villager at the tavern door, the stubborn farmer who knows more than he's letting on, the labourer whose simple tunic hides a complicated past. This Commoner sculpt captures that energy precisely: a stocky, bald, bearded man mid-stride, one hand raised to scratch his neck in that universal gesture of weary hesitation. His belted linen tunic, rolled sleeves, and sturdy boots speak to a life of hard work and harder times.
The pose carries real character — he's not passive, he's thinking. Whether he becomes a reluctant quest-giver, a witness to something he shouldn't have seen, or simply the face of the village your party has sworn to protect, this miniature gives your DM toolkit genuine depth. Equally well-suited to a painted display piece or straight to the tabletop, he holds his own in both roles.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need grounded, believable NPC miniatures for towns, villages, or settlements
- Want a non-combat human character with real presence on the table
- Are building a cast of supporting characters for a long-running campaign
- Enjoy painting character-rich sculpts for display or diorama projects
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in a village where three farmhands have gone missing. The only lead is a bald, broad-shouldered man who keeps scratching the back of his neck whenever the old mill is mentioned — and who insisted, twice, that there's nothing to see up there at night.
