This miniature depicts Otiluke, the formidable archmage and member of the legendary Circle of Eight from the Greyhawk setting. Bald-headed with small devilish brow ridges, a neatly trimmed beard, and an expression of withering authority, he wears a long layered robe cinched with a studded belt — practical enough for a man who prefers letting reality do the heavy lifting. Both hands are outstretched, fingers spread wide, mid-incantation or mid-dismissal — it's genuinely difficult to tell which is more dangerous.
This listing offers three distinct sculpt variants of Otiluke, each captured in a different stance: one leaning forward with one hand raised in command and the other low and open; one standing broad-shouldered with an arm extended wide as if addressing a gathered council; and one caught side-on with a cloak billowing behind him and both hands reaching forward. All three share the same detailed robes, boots, and wristbands, giving them strong visual consistency across the set. Each is a separate pose — browse the range to find the one that fits your session best, or collect all three for a formidable presence at the table.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run Greyhawk campaigns and want to bring the Circle of Eight to life with proper miniatures
- Need a commanding, high-intelligence NPC wizard — archmage, arcane patron, or rival spellcaster
- Are looking for a characterful elderly male human wizard mini for player characters or named NPCs
- Collect display pieces from iconic TTRPG settings and legendary sculpts
Encounter Hook:
The party is summoned to the tower of an archmage they've heard of only in whispered rumours. He stands behind his desk — both hands raised not in welcome, but in the precise configuration of a Prismatic Wall, already half-formed. "You have three seconds," he says, "to explain why I shouldn't finish the gesture." The Arcana check to recognise what he's casting is DC 22. Good luck.
