Description

Somewhere beneath the roots of the world, a hollow thing rises — cap splayed wide, limbs gnarled like old roots, mouth agape in a silent scream that speaks of spores and ancient hunger.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Hollow Myconid is not your typical mushroom folk. Where most myconids communicate in drifting spore clouds and quiet communion, this one carries something darker — a hollowness behind the eyes, a lurching gait, and the unsettling sense that whatever once inhabited this fungal form may no longer be entirely in control. Sculpted by Mia Kay M3DM with extraordinary detail, the miniature captures a myconid mid-stride, its broad cap fanning out like a frilled collar, its thick limbs textured with layered fungal growth, and its base studded with smaller mushrooms as though the creature carries its ecosystem with it.

Whether you're running an Underdark arc, introducing a corrupted myconid colony, or simply want a genuinely unsettling encounter piece, this sculpt delivers atmosphere by the spore cloud. It works equally well as a display piece for collectors drawn to the stranger corners of fantasy creature design.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Underdark campaigns and want creature variety beyond the obvious
  • Need a myconid that reads as threatening rather than benign
  • Are building a corrupted or hollow myconid colony encounter
  • Collect fantasy creature miniatures for display as well as gaming
  • Want a centrepiece miniature with genuine sculptural character

Encounter Hook:
The party follows a trail of dead myconids deeper into the cavern — each one collapsed mid-stride, caps split open from within. The last one is still standing. It turns to face them, jaw working soundlessly, and the spores that drift from its hollow chest carry visions of something that has been feeding on the colony from the inside out.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model on the sculpted base comes as a single piece. The plain base variant is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally be present and are straightforward to clean up. Each piece is fully cured and ready for priming and painting — or display straight from the box.
