This is pose 05 of the Novaminis Hobgoblin Thug range, and it captures something the others in the set don't quite manage: raw, forward momentum. This hobgoblin is mid-stride, knee raised, weight committed, a broad-bladed axe already arcing toward its target. His armour tells a story of rank and conflict — riveted pauldrons, a segmented cuirass decorated with chain and embossed detail, spiked boots, and a horned helmet that speaks to a culture as much as a battlefield role. The eyepatch adds a lived-in menace that no fresh recruit could carry.
Hobgoblins in D&D 5e are humanoids who thrive on military order, and this sculpt reflects that perfectly — but there's something feral in the snarl, something that suggests this particular thug has gone beyond discipline into something more personal. Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is printed to a high level of detail; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks can occasionally occur and are straightforward to tidy up. Fully cured and ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box.
