This is pose 03 of the Hobgoblin Smuggler range by Novaminis, and it's one that bristles with forward momentum. This particular variant shows the smuggler mid-stride, weight shifted low, a broad sword levelled in his right hand and a second stolen blade strapped across his back — the hilt jutting up over one shoulder like a trophy he hasn't quite decided what to do with yet. His armour is a patchwork of riveted plate, studded leather, and chain, layered over a spiked wristguard and heavy boots. The expression is all bared teeth and barely-contained menace.

Hobgoblins in D&D 5e are Humanoids with a martial culture built on hierarchy, discipline, and conquest — but a smuggler sits at the interesting edge of that society. This one has the bearing of a soldier and the instincts of someone who's learned that some cargo is more profitable when it doesn't appear on any manifest. Use him as a recurring underworld contact gone hostile, an enforcer for a goblinoid crime outfit, or the muscle guarding a contraband shipment the party really shouldn't have found. He works equally well as a mid-tier threat on the tabletop or as a characterful centrepiece on a display shelf.

He isn't interested in talking, and the splash of boots retreating through the back means someone already knew you were coming.

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is checked before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin printing, minor marks or support remnants can occasionally occur and are straightforward to clean up. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
