This is Pose 01 of the Hobgoblin Smuggler range from Novaminis. Where most hobgoblins serve in rigid military hierarchies, this one has turned those instincts towards the black market — and he's thriving. The sculpt captures him mid-stride, longsword extended in a low guard, hooded travelling cloak billowing behind him with cross-lace detailing across the shoulders. His braided hair hangs heavy over a broad, muscular chest, and his expression — mouth open in a snarl — makes it clear that negotiations have already ended. A wide embossed belt with a prominent buckle and a blunderbuss-style sidearm at his hip mark him as someone who has survived this work long enough to come prepared.
Whether he's running contraband through a city's underbelly, acting as hired muscle for a thieves' guild, or confronting your party at the wrong end of a warehouse corridor, this mini has the presence and detail to make that moment land. Equally at home on a display shelf as he is on the battlemat.

Encounter Hook:
The party traces a stolen shipment of enchanted weapons to a warehouse on the river — and finds the hobgoblin fence still there, blade already drawn, flanked by two crossbowmen who were expecting them long before they arrived.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. If you'd like a different scale, get in touch and we'll sort it out. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with any hand-finished piece, minor marks are possible and easily cleaned up.
