Hobgoblin society prizes efficiency above almost everything else, and Engineer Ira has made a career of that principle. This sculpt captures her mid-stride confidence perfectly — one hand braced on her hip, the other resting a long-bladed weapon casually across her shoulder, every line of her posture radiating the kind of calm that comes from knowing exactly how to dismantle whatever stands in her way. Her long pale hair falls loose beneath a low-brimmed military helmet fitted with a wire-mesh visor, and her heavily buckled double-breasted coat sits over practical field trousers tucked into laced boots. A coiled rope and expedition pack ride her back — this is an engineer who does fieldwork, not deskwork.

The sculpt leans into a wonderfully grounded aesthetic: military utility meets goblinoid precision, with just enough personal flair to suggest Ira has been around long enough to dress exactly as she pleases. The mesh visor is a particularly evocative detail — part protection, part identity. She fits beautifully into steampunk-inflected campaigns, artificer-heavy parties, or any Dungeon Master who needs a named hobgoblin officer with a little more personality than the rank-and-file.

As a multipart miniature, Ira arrives with a choice of base option so you can slot her into your existing basing scheme with ease.

Suits adventurers who:

• Play hobgoblin Artificers, Fighters, or Rangers seeking a characterful sculpt
• Need a memorable named NPC engineer or Legion officer for their campaign
• Want a miniature that reads as militarily competent without leaning on heavy plate armour
• Are painting steampunk, industrial, or militaristic warbands and want a standout character piece
• Love finely detailed clothing and equipment — belts, buckles, rope coils and mesh — as a painting project

Encounter Hook

The party infiltrates a hobgoblin war-camp to sabotage a siege engine — only to find Engineer Ira crouched over the mechanism, making last-minute modifications by torchlight. She does not look up. She simply tells them, in a measured tone, that they have two choices: help her finish the calibration, or find out what happens when an incorrectly calibrated siege engine fires at close range. She is not bluffing. She is never bluffing.
