Hobgoblins are defined by discipline, and this ranger wears that discipline on every surface of his armour. He's caught mid-stride in a low, combat-ready crouch — spear levelled at something just off the battlefield, one leg raised as if he's stopped himself cold the moment he spotted his quarry. There's a coiled tension in the pose that reads as predatory rather than aggressive; this is a creature that knows how to wait.

The sculpt from Epic Miniatures rewards close attention. Scale-textured pauldrons sit above layered leatherwork, rope-bound leg wrappings run down to solid armoured boots, and a full quiver of arrows rides high across his back.
