- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Hobgoblins are not brutes. They are soldiers — drilled, ranked, and utterly without mercy. This sculpt captures that controlled menace precisely: a broad-shouldered warrior in layered armour stands at ease, one gauntleted hand gripping the pommel of a longsword planted before him, the other balled into a fist at his side. His expression is flat and calculating, the pointed ears and pronounced jaw marking him unmistakably as goblinoid, but the bearing is pure military discipline. The shoulder plate, reinforced tunic, and belted kit all read as a fighter who has survived more than a few campaigns.
Details
At 36mm, he stands a little taller than a standard human miniature — exactly as a hobgoblin should. Whether you're fielding him as a Legion soldier, a Warlord's bodyguard, or a recurring NPC the party keeps running into across your campaign, this sculpt holds its own on any tabletop. He's equally at home on a display shelf for painters who want a characterful subject with satisfying armour detail across every panel.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a credible military threat that isn't just another orc
- Are building a goblinoid warband with structure and hierarchy
- Want a centrepiece NPC — a Legion commander, a city guard captain, or a rival warrior
- Are looking for a rewarding armour-painting project with well-defined surface detail
Encounter Hook:
The merchant convoy was hit at dawn — not ransacked, but stripped with surgical precision. Every crate accounted for, every guard disarmed and left alive. Whoever did this wasn't raiding. They were requisitioning. The hobgoblin standing in the road with his sword at rest doesn't look like a bandit. He looks like a quartermaster.
Scaled at 36mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is quality checked before dispatch; as with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks are possible and can be tidied up before priming.
