This is the Hill Giant Smasher, pose 01 from Novaminis' Hill Giant range — and it's not the lumbering, half-naked brute you might expect. This sculpt presents a hill giant who has clearly stolen, bludgeoned, or sat upon enough armour to strap together a patchwork iron shell: riveted plate covering chest and shins, studded pauldrons, a horned helmet, and spiked joints that suggest someone — or several someones — learned the hard way not to grapple it. In one fist it carries a heavy studded mace, spiked at the head; in the other, a weighty stone maul hangs ready. Mid-stride, one leg lifted, its whole stance reads as barely-contained momentum — the kind of charge that ends walls.

Hill giants occupy a particular sweet spot in D&D 5e: threatening enough to seriously challenge a party of mid-level adventurers, but brutal and readable enough to be satisfying to fight.
