The Hezrou is one of the Abyss's most reliable horrors — a demon of brute appetite and savage instinct, bound to the service of demon lords and let loose on the Material Plane to cause exactly as much chaos as its creators intended. This sculpt captures that character with real conviction: a hulking, toad-like body coated in warty, bubbled skin, a crown of jagged spines running from skull to shoulder, and a gaping maw crammed with irregular, grinding teeth. The pose catches it mid-lunge — one clawed foot planted, the other raised, its compact arms curled forward with claws splayed — the body language of something that has spotted prey and is done waiting.

The detail throughout rewards a painter's patience. The texture contrast between the smooth, rounded belly and the heavily nodular hide across the back and shoulders gives you natural colour-break points. Those spines — long, tapering, and slightly irregular — will take a drybrush beautifully, and the overlapping skin folds around the neck and torso offer deep shadow recesses that will work with almost any wash. This is the second sculpt variation in Novaminis' Hezrou line, so if you're building out a demonic warband, pairing this pose with the first gives your Abyssal encounters genuine visual variety.
