From DM Stash's Blood on the Sails collection, Ignacio Reyes is a Hexhunter of the Sea — a grim, weathered warrior who walks the line between hunter and something far more dangerous. Dressed in a heavy layered coat over chainmail sleeves, prayer beads at his throat and two long curved blades held in a crossed guard at his waist, he carries the look of a man who has made a life of tracking things that should not exist. The sculpt captures mid-breath tension: he's not rushing, not posturing — he's already calculated exactly how this ends.
The detail across this miniature rewards a painter's patience. The woven texture of his long rear coat is rendered across every visible surface, the chainmail on both forearms has genuine individual-link definition, and the decorative trim on his shoulder guards and blade hilts gives him a character that sits somewhere between naval enforcer and occult specialist. His base features stacked ship crates and wooden dock planking — nautical without being theatrical.
A great choice for adventurers who:
- Need a seasoned, morally ambiguous NPC hunter for a maritime or pirate campaign
- Are playing a dual-wielding Fighter, Ranger, or Hexblade Warlock with a seafaring backstory
- Want a commanding display piece from a high-detail independent sculpt range
- Are building out a Blood on the Sails narrative with named, characterful figures
Encounter Hook:
The party's ship is boarded — not by pirates, but by a lone man who steps calmly over the railing, twin blades already drawn. He names one of the crew by name, says he's been commissioned to bring back proof of a sea-witch's death, and asks politely whether anyone intends to get in his way. His tone suggests he's hoping the answer is yes.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and scenic dock base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue secures them. The base is designed to complement the pose and the two work best displayed together. This miniature arrives support-free and fully cured, ready for priming and painting straight away, or display as-is.
