Hexblood Cleric Kalindra by DnD Is A Woman

Where moonlight curdles and pentagram-stitched robes whisper with borrowed power, Kalindra walks the razor's edge between devotion and the hex that remade her.

Kalindra is everything a hexblood cleric should be — commanding, uncanny, and draped in the iconography of a faith that has weathered dark dealings. She stands with her tall cross-tipped staff planted firmly in her grip, one hand raised with fingers spread as though mid-incantation, her sweeping hooded cloak billowing dramatically behind her. Small curved horns emerge from beneath the hood, a mark of her hexblood heritage, while long flowing hair frames a focused, composed expression that suggests she has survived worse than whatever your party is about to throw at her.

Her robes are layered with deliberate detail: a fitted corset bodice laced at the front, a wide studded belt bearing a central pentagram buckle, and a central tabard hanging from waist to hem embossed with crescent moon symbols above and below a five-pointed star. An amber bead chain crosses her chest, and the cuffs of her wide sleeves catch the eye at every angle. The reverse of the cloak is equally considered — a floral-scrollwork trim runs the full length of the back panel, and a star-burst sigil sits at the collar. Every surface rewards the painter who takes the time to look.

She works equally well as a player character — hexblood cleric, warlock with a divine twist, or Shadowfell-touched druid — and just as readily as a formidable NPC: a reclusive village intercessor, a cult emissary, or the hidden hand behind a moon-worshipping covenant. Her silhouette is distinctive enough to own the table at a glance.

Particularly well-suited to adventurers who:

• Play hexblood, tiefling, or half-elf clerics or warlocks
• Want a spellcaster with genuine menace and theological weight
• Are running Ravenloft, Shadowfell, or dark-fantasy campaigns
• Enjoy painting layered fabrics, arcane symbols, and intricate surface detail
• Are building a display piece that earns a second look from across the room

Encounter Hook

The party arrives at a remote hilltop shrine to find the doors sealed and a lone figure standing outside in the rain — Kalindra, staff planted, hood drawn. She tells them calmly that the shrine's deity has sent word of their coming, and that they will not be permitted entry until one among them confesses the lie they told before setting out. She already knows which one of them it was.
