This sculpt captures a fierce undead Valkyrie mid-charge — axe raised high, great knotwork-emblazoned round shield braced to the fore, and a vast spread of feathered wings fanning out behind her like a war banner. Her long hair streams wild around a snarling face, and her scale-and-mail armour speaks to a warrior who has seen centuries of battle. There is nothing restrained about this pose; every line of the sculpt radiates savage forward momentum, as though she has already committed to the kill and is simply waiting for the rest of the world to catch up.

The reverse of the sculpt rewards a closer look. The wings read even more dramatically from behind — layer upon layer of individual feathers rendered with real care — and the detail on the back of the knotwork shield and the chainmail skirt is equally crisp.
