The Hel Valkyre Undead is a ferocious piece of sculpting — a broad-shouldered, winged warrior mid-stride, her mouth open in a battle cry or a death-shriek as she advances. Great feathered wings spread wide from her back, each pinion sharply defined with impressive surface detail. Her armour is a patchwork of scaled hide and leather, worn and torn at the edges, and she carries a length of chain coiled around one clawed hand. Her legs are bound in wrapped wrappings and spiked greaves, one foot forward in a determined march. The bone spines rising from her crown give her silhouette an unmistakably supernatural menace.

The sculpt rewards painters from every angle — the back of the model is as richly detailed as the front, with the wings' feathering and her long, wild braids cascading down between them clearly resolved.
