The Hel Helhest is a sculpt that earns every centimetre of its large 51mm base. The rider — a stern, horned sorceress clad in layered armour and flowing robes — holds an ornate staff topped with a looping, rune-carved head. Her twin curved horns rise above long trailing hair, and her bearing is one of absolute, cold authority. This is not someone who threatens. She commands.

Her mount is the true centrepiece of the composition. The Helhest — drawn from Norse legend as a three-legged death omen — is here rendered as a long-maned, hollow-eyed beast with a gaping jaw and thick-feathered hindquarters that sweep back into dramatic, layered plumage. The creature's front half is powerfully equine; the rear dissolves into a cascade of blade-like feathers, as though the creature exists halfway between the mortal world and something else entirely.
