Description

When the gates of the divine realm are threatened, the Heavenly Guard steps forward — clad in consecrated plate, axe raised, and utterly without mercy for those who would desecrate the sacred.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a warrior of divine purpose made manifest. The Heavenly Guard cuts an imposing figure — encased in angular, spike-edged plate armour that speaks of celestial craft rather than mortal smithing. A broad war axe is thrust forward in one gauntleted fist, its blade wide and purposeful, while the opposite arm rests against a shield embossed with a skull motif — a grim reminder that even heavenly protectors deal in death when called upon. A dramatic flowing cloak billows behind the figure, lending weight and movement to an already formidable silhouette. The crown-like helm, ringed with upward spines, marks this guardian as something more than a common soldier.

The sculpt rewards painters who enjoy high-contrast armour work — those sharp geometric panels beg for zenithal priming and careful edge highlighting. The cloak offers a broad canvas for freehand or smooth blending, while the skull-adorned pauldrons and belt buckle give experienced painters satisfying small-scale detail work to sink into. Whether you render the armour in classic silver and gold or lean into something more otherworldly — bone-white plate, obsidian trim, or pale divine radiance — this miniature has the structural presence to carry any scheme.

As a large-scale sculpt, the Heavenly Guard commands attention both on the battlefield and on a display shelf. The multipart construction means the cloak and shield can be positioned before final assembly, giving painters excellent access to the detailed torso and arm sections during the painting process.

Suits adventurers who:

  • Need a divine guardian, celestial enforcer, or deva-adjacent enemy for a high-stakes encounter
  • Are building out a celestial or Avernus-themed campaign with named elite soldiers
  • Want a BBEG lieutenant or solo boss that looks the part without dominating the table
  • Enjoy painting bold, angular armour with strong geometric lines and detail focal points
  • Are looking for a display piece that doubles as a practical gaming miniature

Encounter Hook

The party has forced their way into the outer sanctum — only to find the doors to the inner reliquary sealed and guarded by a single armoured figure that has not moved in a century. As they approach, it turns. The skull on its belt buckle begins to glow. The axe comes up. And a voice that carries the weight of divine law says simply: "You should not have come here."

Mitz rolled Charisma. Simz rolled Charisma. Both succeeded. The humans had no say in any of this.
