Description

No lantern lights the crossroads where he rides — only the cold gleam of a raised blade and the hollow socket of a skull held high.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Headless Horseman is one of folklore's most enduring terrors, and this sculpt captures every grim detail: ornate Celtic-knotwork armour etched across the breastplate and pauldrons, a galloping steed with full tack and saddlery, and a rider frozen in that iconic moment — severed skull raised in one gauntleted fist, longsword levelled in the other. There is no head atop those shoulders. There never will be again. It is a centrepiece that earns its place on any table or shelf.

Whether you're running a gothic horror one-shot, a Ravenloft campaign, or a Halloween-season session steeped in dread, this mounted undead knight delivers the kind of presence that makes players go quiet. The fine surface detail on the armour rewards careful painting — drybrushing alone will bring those knotwork panels to life — and the dynamic pose reads clearly across a crowded battlefield mat.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a mounted undead villain or boss monster for a haunted-road encounter
  • Are running a Ravenloft, Curse of Strahd, or folk-horror themed campaign
  • Want a display piece that showcases gothic armour sculpting at its finest
  • Are building a spectral cavalry force or cursed knightly order

Encounter Hook:
The village of Ashenmere has lost three messengers on the old post road in as many weeks. Each was found at dawn — horse spooked into a ditch, rider cold and still, neck unmarked but head inexplicably missing. Tonight, the party has been asked to ride that road and find out what hunts it. Somewhere in the dark between the milestone and the ford, hoofbeats begin to follow them.

Scaled to 32mm and supplied as a single piece attached to an oval base. The model is ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or use it unpainted — the grey resin reads clearly on any gaming table. Support marks are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor surface blemishes may occasionally be present and are easily cleaned up.
