Haunted Scarecrow by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
It stood in the fields for years, arms outstretched, hat askew — and then, one autumn evening, it stepped down from its post.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Haunted Scarecrow is a figure of creeping rural dread: broad-brimmed hat pulled low over a featureless, bark-like face, tattered clothes bound at the waist with a coil of rope, one hand reaching outward with splayed claw-like fingers while the other cradles something unseen. The sculpt captures that particular horror of the mundane made wrong — something familiar that has crossed a threshold it should never have reached. The textured, wood-grain surface across its body gives it the look of a thing that has stood too long in wind and rain, animated now by something far older than the farmer who built it.
Whether you're running a horror-tinged harvest festival encounter, populating the outskirts of a cursed estate, or building out the minion pool of a Ravenloft villain, this miniature brings a distinctive silhouette to the table. It also makes a compelling display piece — the naturalistic base and characterful pose reward careful painting with earthy tones, rotting cloth hues, and a touch of uncanny light in those hollow eyes.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run gothic horror or Ravenloft-adjacent D&D campaigns
- Need a Plant or Construct-type monster with genuine menace
- Want an NPC or wandering encounter that unsettles players immediately
- Collect and paint display-quality fantasy miniatures
- Enjoy bringing independent artist sculpts to life on the tabletop
Encounter Hook:
The village of Ashwick hasn't reported a missing person in thirty years — because no one in Ashwick is willing to admit that the scarecrow in the eastern barley field wasn't there yesterday, and neither was Old Maren's youngest boy.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model with a detailed base is supplied as a single piece. The model with a plain base is supplied with the base detached for easy assembly with a small amount of glue.
