This is the Haunted Coffin (HG-073) from the Dungeon Blocks Haunted Graveyard set — a graveyard terrain piece that does far more than fill a grid square. The sculpt depicts an open coffin with three glowing skeletal spirits writhing upward from the interior, their spectral forms tangled in an eerie, phosphorescent green. The coffin itself sits on a dirt-and-cobblestone base, surrounded by the scrubby growth you'd expect from a neglected burial plot. It's a set piece that tells a story the moment your players lay eyes on it.
Designed to sit within the broader Dungeon Blocks modular terrain system, this piece occupies a 1×2 grid space — the equivalent of two 5ft squares in standard 32mm scale. The base measures 3.5cm square per block, making it fully compatible with standard miniature bases. Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the Ashveil Cemetery just after midnight to retrieve a stolen funeral shroud. As they pick their way between the headstones, one of the coffins in the sunken eastern plot shudders — then the lid erupts upward. Three glowing shapes drag themselves free, and the green light of their forms casts long, twisting shadows across the grass. Roll for Initiative.
