Hastur — the Unspeakable One, the King in Yellow, the Herald Who Was Never Truly Away — is rendered here as an avatar of creeping cosmic dominion. Robed in layered, blade-edged vestments that seem to shift between cloth and chitin, the figure bears a featureless mask beneath a horned crown, one arm raised with fingers splayed in an outstretched gesture of command or invitation. The other hand curls low, half-clenched, as though drawing something unseen upward from the ground beneath it.

Below the robes, the mundane world has already lost its claim. Thick, coiling tentacles spill across the base, curling outward as if the creature's true form bleeds through whatever vessel it has chosen to inhabit. The robes themselves are sharp-edged and layered, carved with deep shadow-catching folds that will reward a careful painter — deep purples, sickly yellows, and pallid ivory would all do justice to the King's iconic palette.
