Hastur — the Unspeakable One, the King in Yellow — is one of the great cosmic horrors that lurks at the edges of the known planes, and this sculpt by Epic Miniatures captures that dread with remarkable specificity. The figure is robed in sweeping, angular vestments that billow like something caught in a wind that has no physical source. A blank, sorrowful mask sits beneath a horned crown-like headdress, the expression somewhere between mourning and menace. One clawed hand extends forward whilst the other holds open a large, intricately detailed tome — its pages carved with branching, organic patterns that suggest either forbidden knowledge or something older still.
