The Harvest Soldier 04 is a grotesque plant-creature that defies easy classification. Its body is that of a bloated, animate pumpkin, carved with a wide jagged grin and hollow, sunken eyes that suggest something deeply wrong dwells within. Gnarled tentacles curl from its sides — one clutches a humanoid skull, tongue lolling as though the thing still speaks — while a second talon-tipped tendril coils outward, ready to snatch. The base is a mound of bone fragments and detritus, hinting at a long history of harvesting victims. This is not a mischievous Fey sprite; this is something that lurks at the corrupted edge of the Feywild where autumn never ends and things that were once people become part of the crop.

Whether you're running a seasonal horror one-shot, a corrupted harvest festival gone terribly wrong, or a Feywild arc with genuine dread at its heart, this sculpt carries the atmosphere of the encounter on its own. It works equally well as a battlefield encounter piece or a display centrepiece — the level of detail in the ribs beneath its base, the texture of the pumpkin flesh, and the articulation of the tentacles reward close inspection from every angle.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Are running Feywild campaigns with a darker, more sinister tone
  • Need a memorable BBEG or mid-campaign boss for a harvest or autumnal themed arc
  • Want a creature that reads instantly as threatening without explanation
  • Are building a display collection of horror-adjacent fantasy miniatures
  • Enjoy painting highly textured organic sculpts with bold shadows and decay effects

Encounter Hook:
The village of Thornmere has not celebrated the Harvest Festival in three years — not since the pumpkin fields began moving on their own after dark. Tonight, the party agrees to keep watch from the edge of the field. By midnight, three of them have spotted it: a shape, low and wide, pulling itself forward on curling tendrils, trailing something that used to be the missing farmhand. The jack-o'-lantern face turns toward them. It grins. It has always been grinning.

Details

This miniature is printed at 32mm tabletop scale. The sculpt arrives with its base detached for ease of transport and can be affixed with a small amount of hobby glue. Supports are removed prior to dispatch, and each piece is quality checked before it leaves us — minor surface marks from the printing process are possible and can be tidied up before priming.
