Description

It wore the shape of a harvest lantern once — now it wears the shape of something that hungers.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Harvest Soldier is no mere decoration left to rot in a forgotten field. This grotesque creature has the carved, leering face of a jack-o'-lantern stretched over a bloated, pumpkin-like body, its ribbed surface split into jagged, fang-lined jaws that gape wide enough to swallow a halfling whole. Two writhing vine-limbs curl outward like grasping tendrils — one raised in a clawing threat, the other coiled low like a whip ready to strike — while a single twisted vine spirals upward from its crown like a dark parody of a stem. It crouches on a cracked stone base, roots splitting the rock beneath it, as if it has been here far longer than anything else in the clearing.

This is pose 2 of our Harvest Soldier range from Witchsong Miniatures. Where the first pose may stalk or loom, this variant is mid-reach — caught in the act of snatching. Whether you run it as a Feywild aberration, an awakened plant guardian, or the cursed centrepiece of a harvest festival gone terribly wrong, it carries genuine menace at the table. Equally at home on a display shelf for painting enthusiasts drawn to organic horror and botanical nightmares.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a boss monster for a Feywild, harvest festival, or autumnal horror campaign arc
  • Want to field awakened plant or fey creature encounters with genuine visual impact
  • Are building a Halloween or seasonal TTRPG one-shot and need something with teeth — literally
  • Paint organic textures, twisted foliage, or glowing jack-o'-lantern effects
  • Collect monster miniatures with strong character and display presence

Encounter Hook:
The Harvest Festival has run for three hundred years without incident — until this year, when the largest pumpkin in the village square cracked open at midnight, and the thing inside it stood up and started counting the children.

Details

Supplied at 32mm tabletop scale. The sculpted base is included and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. As with all our prints, supports are removed before dispatch and each piece is quality checked — minor marks from the printing process are possible and can be cleaned up with light sanding before priming. The model arrives ready to prime and paint, or use straight from the box if you prefer an unpainted grey aesthetic.
