Description

The jester bows, one knee raised and head thrown back, as twin tongues of spectral flame curl from his outstretched staff and spiked hat — and the applause that greets him is not entirely voluntary.

This is Pose 04 of Great Grimoire's Harlequin range, and it captures a character in full theatrical command. Dressed in a ruffled collar, laced doublet, and a tall spired hat trailing ghostly vapour, this figure leans back in a moment of dramatic flourish — staff ablaze with eldritch fire in one hand, the other arm flung wide for effect. Whether you read him as a charismatic Bard mid-cantrip, a Feywild trickster holding court, or a sinister carnival master whose performances leave audiences... changed, the sculpt carries genuine personality in every line.

For Dungeon Masters, this mini works beautifully as a memorable NPC anchor — the kind of figure that makes players lean forward the moment they spot it on the table. For collectors and painters, the flowing fabric, flame details, and dynamic pose offer a wealth of interesting surfaces to bring to life with a brush.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a charismatic, theatrically-posed Bard or Sorcerer player character
  • Are running Feywild, carnival, or arcane circus encounters
  • Want a trickster NPC or Villain with genuine stage presence
  • Enjoy painting expressive, detail-rich fantasy sculpts for display

Encounter Hook:
The travelling carnival arrived without announcement, and the ringmaster — a tall, flame-wreathed harlequin who bows to no one — has singled out the party as tonight's headline act. The crowd is already seated. The gates are already locked.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The plain round base is included separately and attaches easily with a drop of superglue. As with all our prints, supports are removed before dispatch and each piece is fully cured. We check every miniature before it leaves us, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur — these are straightforward to clean up with a hobby knife.
