This is the Casual Pose from our Hamsterfolk Necromancer range by Mia Kay M3DM — and casual is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. He stands amid crumbling headstones with a gnarled bone staff in one paw, layered robes decorated with a snarling skull brooch, and what can only be described as an expression of deep, unshakeable self-assurance. A raven perches at his feet while another clings to his back — corvid familiars who have clearly heard the sales pitch and signed on willingly. His belt is hung with pouches and a grimoire, his hood is pulled back just enough to reveal those very round, very judgemental ears, and the whole scene radiates the energy of a necromancer who has absolutely read the small print on every deal he's ever made.
He works brilliantly as a quirky villain, an eccentric NPC hedge wizard, or — for the right party — an unexpected and deeply entertaining player character. Whether you're running a darkly comic campaign or want something genuinely distinctive on your display shelf, this sculpt delivers character in spades.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a dark-comedy necromancer NPC or low-level villain with genuine presence
- Are playing or running a campaign with beastfolk, Feywild, or weird-magical themes
- Want a hamsterfolk character option at the table — warlock, wizard, or necromancer class
- Collect character-driven display pieces that tell a story unpainted
Encounter Hook:
The party finds a circle of freshly dug graves in the churchyard — each one neatly re-covered, patted down, and labelled with a small hand-written card reading "Do Not Disturb: Currently Resting." At the centre sits a small robed figure eating a seed cake, flanked by two ravens, who looks up and says: "Oh good. I was hoping someone would come. I have some questions about property law and the undead, and the locals have been remarkably unhelpful."
