Description

The invitation was written in ink that smelled faintly of iron, and the menu promised courses no living guest was meant to finish.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

Gunthrak Destraz is not the vampire lord of the castle — he's the one who keeps the kitchens running and the guests from escaping. A half-orc turned vampiric servant, Gunthrak occupies that unsettling space between muscle and menace: broad-shouldered and imposing, with a heavy leather apron buckled across his chest, a thick chain looped at his belt, and a cleaver-like blade extended in one meaty fist. One hand rises to scratch his head — a gesture almost casual, almost domestic — while a body slumps at his feet, the evening's entertainment thoroughly concluded. Two sculpt variants are available: one with small horns and piggish vampiric features, the other with pointed ears, a slicked-back undercut, and a thick moustache that somehow makes him more unsettling, not less.

Whether you're running a Ravenloft campaign, a Strahd-adjacent arc, or simply need a villain who poses as the staff, Gunthrak earns his place at any dark fantasy table. He works equally well as a recurring enforcer, a grotesque NPC the players genuinely don't want to upset, or a mid-tier boss encounter hiding behind false civility. Off the table, the depth of sculpt detail — from the chain links to the stitched leatherwork — makes him a rewarding piece for collectors and painters alike.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable undead villain who isn't a classic caped aristocrat
  • Are running gothic horror, Ravenloft, or vampire court campaigns
  • Want an NPC that doubles as an unexpected combat encounter
  • Enjoy painting complex textures — leather, chain, flesh and fabric all in one sculpt
  • Are building a display shelf with genuinely distinctive dark fantasy pieces

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to investigate disappearances at a noble's estate. The head chef — a towering, oddly cheerful half-orc — greets them warmly and offers a meal. It's only when one of the players rolls a high Perception check mid-dinner that they notice the kitchen staff haven't blinked in several minutes, and Gunthrak's cleaver is already in his hand.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative base is included as a separate piece — some of the sculpt's posing interacts directly with the base scenery, so attaching it with superglue is recommended for the best result. Two sculpt variants are available (please check the product images): one with vampiric beast-like features and horns, one with a more classically orcish vampiric look. Each is printed to a high level of detail and arrives support-free, though minor surface marks are possible as a natural part of the printing process and can be cleaned up easily before priming.
