Description

He carries a tray of food in one hand and a foaming tankard in the other — and you'd be very unwise to complain about the service.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Not every half-ogre takes to raiding or warfare. Some find their calling behind a counter, or in the controlled chaos of a tavern kitchen. This half-ogre monk chef cuts an unmistakable figure: broad-shouldered and bald, dressed in a simple monk's robe with a heavy leather belt, wrappings at his shins, and bare feet planted with the quiet confidence of someone who could absolutely flatten you — but probably won't, because he has tables to serve. One hand extends a flat tray loaded with coin or food, the other hefts a generously filled tankard. His expression is measured, almost patient. He's heard worse.

Whether you play him as a peaceful monastery cook who's renounced violence (mostly), a half-ogre NPC running the roughest tavern in town, or an unusual monk player character who's traded his fists for flavour, this sculpt carries genuine character and warmth. The detail in the flowing robe, the studded belt, and the food props makes him equally rewarding to paint or to place on the table straight from the box.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable tavern keeper or innkeeper NPC with presence
  • Are playing or running a half-ogre monk character
  • Want a non-combat NPC who still radiates physical authority
  • Are building a monastery, inn, or guild hall encounter location
  • Enjoy display pieces that tell a story without a sword in hand

Encounter Hook:
The party asks around for information and is directed to the Broken Tusk — a surprisingly well-kept tavern run by a half-ogre who used to be something of a legend in the fighting pits. He brings their drinks without a word, sets a tray of bread on the table, and says quietly: "You're asking about the guild. I used to work for them. Sit. Eat. Then we talk."
