Description

When the ground begins to shake and a low, rumbling war-cry rolls across the tundra, wise warriors know to stand clear — the Half-Giant Barbarian Rider is coming, and his beast is already in a killing mood.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a large-base miniature (51mm oval) featuring two distinct variations of the same character — a massive, bare-chested half-giant barbarian seated atop a hulking, tusked beast with a thick mane, scaled hide, and feathered tail. The mount is laden with rope harness, chain tack, and armoured barding, with enormous curved tusks framing a snarling maw. The sculpt has an unmistakably Norse or tribal character, heavy with texture — braided rope jewellery, layered fur and scale detailing, and the kind of presence that demands attention at the centre of any encounter map.

The two variations offer meaningfully different silhouettes. In the first, the rider is bare-headed — bald with a full braided beard — gripping a large bound club or maul at his side, leaning forward with brutal intent. In the second, the rider wears a skull helmet and bears a long two-handed maul or mallet raised across his body, giving a more imposing, shamanic warlord impression. Both variants sit on the same mount in the same aggressive stance, allowing them to serve as paired chieftain and champion, or simply as two distinct character options for the same warboss role.

Both images show unpainted grey resin prints photographed against a brick backdrop, with a 51mm base size reference visible — what you see is exactly what arrives at your door, ready for primer and paint.

Particularly well-suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding BBEG or warlord mount for a giant or tribal encounter
  • Are running Norse, arctic, or highland campaigns where mounted raiders make sense
  • Want a centrepiece miniature that reads large and imposing across the table
  • Paint character pieces and want exceptional surface texture to work with
  • Are collecting mounted warriors or exotic beast-riders for a display shelf

Encounter Hook: The party crests the ridge to find the village already in flames — and at the far end of the valley, silhouetted against the firelight, a colossal figure on a tusked beast turns its skull-helmed gaze directly toward them. The Half-Giant Warlord didn't come alone, and his war-horn is already at his lips.
