Hags Night (w/ Skulls) by MZ4250
Description
She threw her arms wide and laughed at the moon, and somewhere across the swamp, three candles snuffed out at once.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This Night Hag miniature captures the creature at her most theatrical and most dangerous — robes streaming behind her, long matted hair hanging in braided ropes, head thrown back and arms raised in triumphant invocation. There is nothing subtle about this pose, and that is precisely the point. Hags do not lurk when they can perform, and this sculpt leans fully into that energy. Whether she is sealing a dark bargain, calling down a curse, or communing with something the party would rather not know about, she commands the table.
In D&D 5e, Night Hags are Fiends wrapped in the guise of wretched old women — creatures who traffic in corruption, misery, and the souls of the despairing. They are extraordinary NPCs: manipulative, ancient, and wickedly clever. This variant references skulls in her adornments, grounding her firmly in the necromantic and soul-broker tradition. She works equally well as a coven leader, a swamp-dwelling villainess, or a recurring Feywild antagonist with a very long memory.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a hag miniature that reads as a genuine threat rather than a background figure
- Are running Feywild, Ravenloft, or swamp-based campaigns with dark bargain plotlines
- Want a centrepiece NPC with real presence on the encounter mat
- Collect folklore-inspired monster minis for display as well as gaming
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked a missing child to a clearing deep in the fenlands. In the centre stands the hag, arms raised, mid-ritual — the child is alive but suspended in a soul cage at her belt. She turns slowly, as though she expected them, and smiles. She always enjoys an audience for this part.
Supplied as a single piece attached to a round base, scaled to 32mm. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process may occasionally occur and are easily tidied up.
