Description

The town square falls silent as the magistrate reads the charges — and every eye drifts to the weathered wooden frame looming at its centre.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

Few pieces of scatter terrain communicate power, corruption, and consequence quite like a guillotine. Whether it dominates the public square of a city ruled by a cruel lord, serves as the centrepiece of a revolutionary uprising gone wrong, or stands forgotten in the overgrown courtyard of a fallen regime, this piece does heavy narrative lifting the moment it hits the table. The sculpt by Mia Kay captures the grim practicality of the thing — grain lines running through aged timber, the weighted blade suspended in its frame, a raised platform that speaks to the theatre of punishment.

It scales well alongside 32mm miniatures and reads clearly from across the table, making it equally at home on a battle map as it does anchoring a diorama or display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run morally complex urban campaigns where justice and tyranny share a thin border
  • Want a centrepiece prop for public execution scenes, prison districts, or revolutionary encounters
  • Build diorama or display scenes with strong narrative atmosphere
  • Are painting judges, executioners, prisoners, or town guard NPCs and need a matching set piece

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in Vethmark three days before the scheduled execution of a rebel leader they've never met — but the charges pinned to the scaffold post name a contact they were sent to find. The magistrate's guards are already watching the square. The blade drops at dawn.

This terrain piece is scaled to 32mm and supplied unpainted, ready for priming and painting. It arrives as a single assembled piece. Some minor marks from the printing process are possible — these are easily tidied up before painting and in no way affect the final result once primed.
