The Guardian of the Lodge is a gaunt, hollow-eyed undead sentinel draped in a billowing hooded robe, its wasted torso bound at the waist by heavy iron chains. In one hand it carries a skull-adorned lantern, casting whatever light it still believes it owes to the living. In the other, a great curved scythe — not a weapon of war, but of finality. This is no mindless skeleton; this is something that chose to remain, or was made to, and the distinction no longer matters to the people it has killed.

This bundle brings together all three sculpts from the Guardian of the Lodge range by Great Grimoire. Each pose captures a different aspect of the creature's dreadful purpose: one surging forward with skull-lantern raised and robes erupting from a base of ghostly hands; one hovering mid-advance, scythe lowered and lantern held aloft in search of trespassers; and a third hunched in a predatory stalk, lantern swinging and scythe ready. Encounter Hook:
The lodge has been sealed for forty years — ever since the last owner swore that nothing inside would ever be disturbed again. The party's patron has sent them to retrieve a ledger from the study. Three rooms in, the lantern light appears at the far end of the corridor. It does not call out. It simply begins to walk towards them.
