This guard drake sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures the creature mid-crouch, its powerful forelimbs braced against the ground as it raises a spike-crowned head in challenge. A single prominent nasal horn juts skyward above a cluster of jagged spines, while overlapping scales armour the back and a heavy, ridge-tipped tail sweeps out behind. The musculature is dense and deliberate — this is not a wild beast, but a weapon shaped into the form of a lizard. Whether stationed at the entrance to a dragon's lair, patrolling a cult's underground complex, or leashed beside a powerful NPC, it communicates threat without a single word.
Standing at 39mm, the sculpt has a satisfying presence on the tabletop that reads clearly across the table even before paint is applied. The detail in the scale plating, the claw spread, and the snarling expression reward close attention when the brushwork goes down. Available with or without a plain black base; the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor surface marks inherent to the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up with fine sandpaper or a hobby knife.
