This two-piece set brings one of fantasy's most beloved villainous duos to your tabletop in wickedly expressive form. The larger figure — a lean, wild-maned, hunched creature clutching a sack and grinning with far too many teeth — crouches mid-stride with the coiled menace of something that absolutely knows it shouldn't be here. Alongside him prowls his companion: a muscular, sinewy hound bristling with bone spines along his neck and crown, jaw wide open in a silent snarl, every muscle suggesting barely-contained aggression. The sculpt quality on both pieces is exceptional — the creature's leonine hair, the dog's spiked crest and deeply-set scowl, and the expressive tension in both bodies make these as rewarding to paint as they are to put on the table.
Whether you're running a festive one-shot, a dark winter encounter, or simply want a characterful humanoid villain and his fearsome beast companion as part of your wider collection, this pair earns its place at any table. The creature works brilliantly as a trickster NPC, a minor villain, or even a chaotic neutral mercenary with a very unusual pet. The hound translates naturally as a reskinned hell hound, a worg, or a homebrew beast with an unsettling amount of personality.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want a centrepiece villain and beast companion for a festive or winter-themed encounter
- Are building a campaign around trickster figures, thieves, or chaotic NPCs
- Enjoy painting characterful creatures with strong silhouettes and expressive detail
- Collect display miniatures with genuine narrative presence
- Need a menacing beast mini that doubles as a hell hound or exotic monster proxy
Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to track down whoever has been systematically emptying the village storehouses each night — but when they finally corner the culprit in the rafters of the town hall, the sack-clutching figure just grins, whistles sharply, and something very large and very spiky drops from the shadows behind them.
Both miniatures are scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base comes unattached and can be glued on as preferred. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming; minor imperfections from the printing process may occasionally occur and are easily cleaned up before painting.
