Grimlocks are among the Underdark's most unsettling predators. Blind from generations of subterranean existence, they've traded eyes for an almost supernatural sensitivity to sound and smell — and what they lack in vision, they more than compensate for with brute force. This particular sculpt, Grimlock 02 from Yasashii Kyojin Studios, captures one mid-stalk: hunched low, impossibly wide shoulders rolling forward, a crude bone-and-blade weapon clutched in each massive hand. The jaw hangs open in a silent snarl, stringy hair falling across the blank face where eyes should be. The wrapped legs and torn loincloth speak to a creature that exists entirely outside civilisation's reach.
The sculpt rewards close inspection — the deeply textured hide, the coiled tension in the crouching stance, the asymmetry of the two weapons — and translates beautifully to the tabletop as both a gaming piece and a display miniature. This is pose 2 of the Grimlock range; adventurers building a Underdark encounter will find the multiple variants work brilliantly together as a hunting pack.

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to find a missing survey team in the tunnels below Ironmantle. Halfway down the second passage, they find the surveyor's lantern — still lit, still warm — placed deliberately in the centre of the path. Around it, in neat concentric circles, are the team's tools, arranged by size. Whatever took them wasn't hungry. It was curious.

Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming; some minor cleanup of support marks may be required as part of the normal finishing process.
