The Grell is one of the Underdark's most unsettling predators: a floating brain-like aberration with a vicious chitinous beak and ten barbed tentacles capable of paralysing prey before it even has time to scream. Intelligent, alien, and utterly contemptuous of other life, Grells haunt subterranean passages and ruined underground lairs — patient ambush hunters that descend without warning from above. This bundle brings you both sculpts in the Novaminis Grell range, giving you two distinct poses to populate your encounters with variety and menace.

Grell 01 presents the creature low and predatory — tentacles splayed outward and curling at their barbed tips, beak open mid-strike, the folded brain-mass of its body conveying unsettling biological weight. Grell 02 rises taller and more aggressive, its tentacles arching outward with heavy star-burst barb clusters at the tips and its cracked-open beak facing directly forward — the pose of a creature that has already decided you're its next meal. Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to investigate why a dwarven mining team went silent three days into a new shaft. They find the camp intact — tools set down mid-use, meals half-eaten — but no bodies. The ceiling, however, is very high, very dark, and faintly glistening with something that catches torchlight in ways stone shouldn't.
